Summer Sesh has seized this opportunity to organise a festival dedicated to showcasing Australia’s popular
DJ talent. Kicking-off in the much anticipated summer of 2019, taking place in three locations across Victoria
and New South Wales, Summer Sesh is a two day, outdoor summer music festival featuring international
headliners alongside countless Aussie talent.

The brand identity developed for Summer Sesh was determined by the unique vibe found only at electronic
music festivals. Use of vibrant, youthful colours and other-worldly concepts influenced by the style of music,
brings to life the energetic atmosphere of the event and aims to entice the desired audience from their
first interaction with the brand.

As the festival identity would change with the years, establishing a brand mark with flexibility across both vertical
and horizontal formats was a key objective of this project. Ensuring future diversity of the brand, logos and
supporting graphics were designed with consideration to the aesthetics of summer in combination with
contemporary design elements. The 2019/2020 identity focuses on reflecting an other-worldly concept through
use of a cosmic, surreal perception. Through blending colour palette, imagery and effect styles, the identity
represents an electric summer mood, reinforcing the atmosphere, season and music together to produce
a disposition only this festival could have inspired.
